our coaches

Whitney Kono

Signed up for her first CrossFit class in April 2012. Prior to that, her workout routine consisted mostly of cardio and crunches, and she mostly exercised in order to “stay skinny”.

A school psychologist by day, and loves the stress relief that CrossFit provides. She got her L1 in 2017, and enjoys helping athletes reach their goals, and achieve things they didn’t think were possible. You may also have seen her floating around during class with a camera capturing all the action.

Niki Brazier

Has been CrossFitting since 2010 and coaching since 2011. She started CrossFit when a girlfriend opened up a gym in Bangor, Maine and she realized she had never really found a fitness routine she liked. She saw immediate results and was completely hooked. She decided to start coaching because her life was so positively affected by the physical, mental, and social benefits of CrossFit!

Niki has her CrossFit L1 & L2. When she’s not working out, you can probably find her behind a video camera or editing clips of fun moments at the box.

Krista Hoffman

I enjoy the endless challenge to better my body physically and my mind mentally. The communal support and competitive aspect also help with the extra push through tougher workouts. There’s so much variety in the workouts that I never get complacent or bored, and there’s always a new goal to work towards.

I’ve recently started jiu jitsu and golfing as new hobbies in the last year. I love being outside (especially by the water), and I’m a huge concert fan; so if there’s music or some fresh air involved, I’m in!

Cibele Joye

After obtaining her NASM certified personal trainer certificate in 2015 and her NASM corrective exercise certificate in 2017, Cibele joined the CrossFit community and fell in love with the challenges since her first class. The energy and support from the community was the reason for her to keep learning new skills while having fun.

She got her L1 in 2019 and continues to learn and grow with CrossFit and is committed to helping others become better versions of themselves.

Lauren Fatse

Joined CrossFit at the end of 2012 with her husband, Andrew. They were both looking for a new place to work out; one that took them out of their comfort zone. CrossFit had them at Day one!

Always enjoys a good endurance workout, but also loves how CrossFit expands and improves her physical boundaries while helping her maintain a healthy lifestyle. The community is a top reason she gets up and goes to the gym each day. What’s better than being challenged with a fun workout with your friends?!

Jeff Arnold (Co-Owner)

No matter how many times we show up, there is always something to work towards and a new goal to chase. Life, like CrossFit, is a marathon not a sprint. We are here to enjoy the journey, show up everyday, and support each other through it all. I also low key love competing

Received CrossFit L1 in 2020. When not in the gym, I spend any moment I can outdoors- hiking and surfing are my go-to’s, and pretty much anything I do, I make sure my dog (Dora) can come along.
